White Morning in Dublin

Finally the harsh wind from the Atlantics has brought snow to Dublin! Though it didn't last very long but it sure was magical. The city turned heavenly white with little snow flake showers, slippery shiny pavements, snow sprinkled trees, snow-bed grasses...it was truly a magical experience for Dubliners (at least for those who were up early as the snowfall didn't last very long). Since Ireland is not know for a snowy weather, a snowfall is quite a big deal around here even though it was a mild one and lasted only for a short while. It's like the weather hitting above 20 degree in summers for a little while and then everybody has their swimming suits out and goes straight to the beach. So let's just say a day like this, be it the sun shining at 20 degrees or the snow falling as light as shredded cotton pieces is a blessed day for Dubliners :)
